The Talisman of Delucha - Update
06 Jan 2009 09:57 am
The Talisman of Delucha is now on its way to the publisher. This means that it will probably be available in about 6-8 weeks (around the beginning of March) as long as everything goes smoothly.
If you'd like to watch for more updates, please check out this page. |

Links Page
15 Jan 2009 07:46 pm
I've added a new page to the site for helpful links for writers. I'm hoping to also include some of the webpages of other authors I've networked with elsewhere, but for now the page includes links to newsletters, informational sites for authors, and some networking sites. All of this information has been listed in the forums previously, but it has been a bit difficult for people to find it, so the Links page was created to help with the site navigation.
Please send me an email if you come across any sites that you've found helpful and would like to see added to the page. |

Author Page Update
16 Jan 2009 07:33 am
I have updated the "About the Author" page of this website to include a little more information about myself. Previously this page listed the same one sentence information that is on the back of my books; now it has some more info and a photo. Check it out if you want to know more about me. |

Moon's Eye Survey Page is Down
17 Jan 2009 07:57 am
The survey for The Moon's Eye is currently unavailable. I'm having some errors occur, and until I can get my tech support to look into it, the link will only take you to an error message. Hopefully it will be an easy fix and the survey will be back up soon. I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. |

Fan Gallery
18 Jan 2009 10:34 am
I've added a page to display some of the fan artwork I've received over the past few months.
To get to the gallery, mouse over the Books button at the top of the page, and click on the "Fan Gallery" button at the bottom of the dropdown menu (or you can click here). If you have artwork of your own you would like to submit, send me an email and I'll add it to the gallery. |

Twitter
10 Feb 2009 07:24 am
I recently received an email newsletter regarding Twitter, and how you can use it to help promoting books, among other things. I set up a page for myself on it last night, so check it out if you have the time.
If you would like to know more about it yourself, I've posted some information here. The newsletter in question is A Marketing Expert - check it out, as there are always some really great tips in every issue! |

Talisman of Delucha Update
12 Feb 2009 05:03 pm
I have been notified that my proof books will be arriving on Tuesday. The next step in the process is for me to review them and make sure one last time that there are no errors and that everything looks good. Once that is done, it goes back to the publisher and will be officially ready for print.
I will post updates once I have some definite dates for release. |

Publishing Update
18 Feb 2009 07:13 pm
I got my proof books yesterday as expected, and I just finished reviewing it. Looks good, for the most part (with the exception of a repeated formatting error on the publisher's end that should be an easy fix). Now I am just waiting on my favorite reviewer (mom) to finish checking for errors/typos in it, and then it will be on its way back to Inifinity.
Keep checking back for more updates! Publication dates should be posted very soon! |

Publishing Update 2
02 Mar 2009 09:32 am
The Talisman of Delucha will be on its way back to the publisher today.
From past experience, it will be about 7-10 days before I get my final copies, and another 1-2 days before it will be available to purchase online. So, my estimate is going to be somewhere around Friday, March 13th. (happy birthday bro!) |

Publishing Update #3
10 Mar 2009 04:06 pm
Because of the number of formatting errors that occurred on the publisher's end, the official release date of The Talisman of Delucha has been pushed back at least a week, possibly two. They will be sending me a second proof copy to review to make sure that the formatting issues have all be taken care of.
Depending on when they are able to ship the second proof to me, I may get it by the end of this week. If that happens, there is a chance I can get it sent back to them before I leave for a vacation next Sunday. If I do not get the proof before Friday, publication of The Talisman of Delucha will probably not happen until the end of the month, or possibly into April.
I will continue to post updates as I get them. |
